Pa. foundries are encouraged
to enroll in PFA’s regulatory stewardship service to ensure
compliance with state and federal environmental, safety and
industrial hygiene mandates. This economical assistance is
entering its second year with four foundries already under
contract. Only a limited number of additional foundries can
be accommodated, so don’t delay letting George Boyd know
when you are ready to sign-up.
For a flat annual
fee and expenses, payable in installments, you will receive
a guaranteed number of in-plant and off-site days to assist
your compliance with OSHA, EPA and DEP regulations. The
service includes mandated employee training, review of
written programs, assistance in completing forms and
reports, ombudsman service with regulatory agencies (as
needed), and a customized compliance calendar covering your
specific permits.
This stewardship
service will benefit your foundry in mastering the
financial, time and technical constraints of regulatory
